An 18-year-old student from South Asian University (SAU) has accused several individuals of sexual harassment, with the email address used to send obscene and threatening messages being accessible to one of her friends, according to police officials on Thursday.
The first-year B.Tech student, residing in the university's hostel, has reported incidents involving a security guard and three others on campus.
She was discovered injured and in torn clothing on October 13, a day after being reported missing. Following her complaint, a First Information Report (FIR) was filed on Tuesday, where she claimed she was sexually assaulted and coerced into taking an abortion pill.
Additionally, she alleged that in the days leading up to the incident, she received obscene and threatening messages via email and social media from an individual named Aryan Yash.
Police sources indicated that a technical analysis revealed the email address used for the messages was accessed from multiple devices, and one of her friends had access to it.
